Be an Advocate Against Bullying!

People are being subjected to bullying all over the world. But bullying may be more than we allow ourselves to think it is. Bullying has become such a powerful disease that it has spread onto the Internet. Bullies attack their targets behind the mask of a screen, leaving them to feel bold and powerful without dealing with the repercussions of their heinous actions. So let’s all take a stand against bullying. Big or small. Friend or foe. Neighbor or celebrity. Because that boy you call weird may be trying to recreate his childhood. That girl you call a whore may be searching for love and acceptance. The one you call fake may be trying to recreate their image so they may be an excellent role model. That couple you criticize may be trying to make it work. We never know the whole story. Instead of passing judgment, why don’t we take a look t ourselves. If we don’t agree with something, let’s not hound the person down that we are in disagreement with to put them down. If you don’t like someone, no one is forcing you to— but you don’t have to let that person know how much you despise them everytime you see their name. Bullying is a serious issue, so let’s stop now.
